Jay-Z’s RocaWear Is Bankrupt According To Creditor Suing For $450,000 In Merchandise Not Paid For

Jay-Z

The bad business acumen of rapper Jay-Z strikes once again. Jay-Z, who has a string of failed businesses, is in legal hot water over his Rocawear clothing label, which he forced former partner and founder Dame Dash out of, taking full credit for his brainchild.

Rocawear has been sued this month by clothing manufacturer iSource of New York. The company had $1,000,000 in clothes made in Pakistan for Rocawear, who accepted the shipment and put the items on store shelves, but refuses to pay iSource the full amount, only remitting $500,000. As a result of the thievery, iSource has filed suit against Rocawear in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Jay-Z is struggling to keep up appearances, as business after business fails. While the sub par Rocawear line is widely available on store shelves, it simply has not been doing well...at all. Availability does not mean sale ability.

Jay-Z’s outfit is a ‘deadbeat’

Last Updated: 5:06 AM, June 12, 2013 - Jay-Z is a rap mogul worth around $500 million — but his clothing brand Rocawear is in the red, a lawsuit claims. The apparel group allegedly owes $450,000 to wholesale company iSource NYC for urban-style duds made in Pakistan and shipped to New York last April through June, the Manhattan Supreme Court filing states.

The clothing items "were specially ordered goods . . . [with] the ‘Rocawear’ brand name imprinted on [them]," the Garment District company claims in the suit. "Defendant never returned the ROC goods to iSource." Rocawear paid for about half of the $1 million order, but has yet to cough up the balance, the suit alleges, and iSource wants the rest of the money plus 9 percent interest — because the bill was due last Summer.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Kenya Moore Fires Back Countersuing Landlord

 Kenya Moore

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore is firing back at claims she did not pay the rent on the Roswell mansion she leased, while appearing on the show. Moore has filed a countersuit in Atlanta against landlord, Conya Weems-Dillon, claiming wrongful eviction, slander and fraud.

Moore is stating Dillion concocted the claims to sell a story to the press on the reality star, as well as force her out of the property her segments in the show is filmed in. Moore insists she did remit payment for her rent and now seeks damages against Dillion.

Tony Parker’s Injury Lawsuit Involving Chris Brown And Drake Being Questioned After Game 1 Of NBA Finals

Tony Parker

Tony Parker’s performance in Game 1 of the NBA finals against my wonderful Miami Heat is causing some to question his injury lawsuit against rapper Drake and singer Chris Brown. Parker sued club W.i.P. in New York, among others, over an incident that occurred last year, involving a fight between Chris Brown and Drake’s entourages.

The fight was said to be initiated by singer Rihanna, who was with Drake at the time (seriously, who isn’t she with). Rapper Meek Mill reported a woman started the fight, as females were seen throwing bottles. Rihanna is known for hurling bottles at people, as documented in another incident.

Drake and Chris Brown

Parker sued stating his eye was injured by a piece of glass, but clearly they didn’t hit that dude in the head hard enough, because his team the Spurs won Game 1 against my Miami Heat. Um, I mean sorry you were injured Tony and I hope you feel better soon. As I wrote on Twitter, Parker I’m going to need you to start messing up – we want that ring!

I hope the Heat guard you like cops circling a Dunkin Donuts shop. A few weeks ago, I walked past a Dunkin Donuts and there were four cops and three police vehicles outside. One of the cops was an investigator in a suit with a badge on his leather belt and all four officers had food and coffee from inside Dunkin Donuts. The cops were standing guard over the Dunkin Donuts smiling their butts off like it’s their happy place. That Dunkin Donuts was the safest place in America and nothing was going to happen as long as those cops were there (LOL).

Tony Parker's Lawsuit Over Drake And Chris Brown Brawl May Be Sunk By Playoff Run

Published: 2013-06-08 16:36:23 - Remember that massive brawl between Drake, Chris Brown and their respective entourages? Bottles were heaved. Money was bled and a slew of different lawsuits were filed, one by innocent bystander Tony Parker who was hit in the eye by a rogue piece of glass.

Because of lacerations to his cornea, Parker was initially concerned about the future of his basketball career; so, according to TMZ, his lawsuit asked for twenty million dollars for his pain, suffering and potential lost income. Fortunately or unfortunately, however, Parker’s play didn’t suffer any drop off this season whatsoever. In fact, a case could be made that he had his best season yet, and his beloved San Antonio Spurs are now in the NBA Finals, thanks largely to his heroic efforts...

Case Against Shaquille O’Neal By Mistress Goes Up in Smoke As She Is Unmasked As A Liar

Shaquille O'Neal

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was sued by mistress, Vanessa Lopez, who claimed the star had begun harassing and intimidating her when their fling came to an end. Lopez hired high profile attorney, Gloria Allred, who later backed out of the case when discrepancies in her client’s testimony began surfacing.

From the beginning of this case, the Judiciary Report stated Lopez would have credibility issues (Mistress Sues Shaq For Harassment - Part 2). As the case wore on, Lopez lied about issues that affected her credibility even more, such as illegally charging $10,000 in clothes and jewelry to the credit card of basketball star Kenyon Martin, which she obtained without permission while he was sleeping, after having sex with him in a hotel room.

Vanessa Lopez

She also lied that she was never the subject of a restraining order, but O’Neal legal team presented evidence indicating a past boyfriend obtained said legal document against her, regarding her unreasonable behavior. The case has dragged on for years, costing O’Neal a significant sum of money in legal fees he may never see again, which is not fair under the circumstances. The court has dismissed Lopez’s case citing fraud.

Shaq's Alleged Mistress Destroyed By Judge You're a Dirty Liar

HUGE legal victory for Shaq -- the lawsuit filed by an alleged ex-mistress who claimed the NBA star harassed her following their breakup has been dismissed ... because the judge says she's a dirty LIAR. As we reported, Vanessa Lopez filed her lawsuit against Shaq back in 2010 claiming she was his mistress for 5 years ... and once she broke up with him, he launched a campaign to harass her and make her fear for her safety.

But the Florida judge just lowered the legal boom on Lopez in his ruling -- claiming the court CAUGHT HER in several lies ... proving it's impossible to believe anything that comes out of her mouth. "[Lopez] lied often. She lied about facts important to the defense, and she demonstrated an utter disrespect for the system of justice," the judge stated.

Among Lopez's lies -- the judge says Vanessa claimed she "did not know of" any previous restraining orders that had been issued against her ... when there were official records showing she was hit with one stemming from a case involving an ex-boyfriend. The judge says there's also proof she lied about her legal history with NBA star Kenyon Martin ... who had accused her of stealing his credit card and running up charges…

Chris Stokes And Marques Houston Are Harassing Me (Emails)

Chris Stokes

As many of you know, music producer Chris Stokes and one of his main artists, singer/actor Marques Houston of Immature/IMX have been the subject of child molestation allegations for the past few years. The allegations were made by former B2K band member, Raz B and singer Quindon Tarver.

When the alleged (*rolls eyes*) booty raiding tag team duo of Stokes and Houston, were accused of this misconduct against children, the Judiciary Report and many other socially conscious sites online did not keep quiet. Apparently, in Stokes and Houston's eyes, we should have shut up.

A year ago, while I was in London, trying to enjoy my delicious Marks & Spencer cheese and onion sandwiches, Sainsburys fresh fruit salads and Tesco horsemeat in peace (I still love you Tesco) here comes this email from a legal representative stating he is acting on behalf of Chris Stokes. He stated the contents of the Judiciary Report articles on Stokes were defamatory - a first for the site - and he wanted them removed or he will file a lawsuit (a legal case doesn‘t scare me, as I haven‘t done anything wrong).

In the 12 years I’ve been writing articles online, no one has ever accused me of defamation and or asked that an article that is alleged to be defamatory be removed. I don’t do take down requests and I am careful with people‘s reputations. If I wrote something it is with reason.

I responded to the email from Stokes’ rep with a strongly worded missive, indicating I will not remove the items in question from the site, as Stokes needs to address it from the source of the allegations - his former artists alleging he molested them as children.

Raz-B

A whole year passed and nothing from Stokes and company. Then, in May 2013 (last month) I did a follow up on the BBC pedophilia scandal the Judiciary Report broke first in 2009, alleging there are pedophiles at the BBC mixed in with law abiding people at the network (Pedophilia At The BBC Comes To Light Just As The Site Predicted With Arrests In Jimmy Savile Scandal).

Within a few days, Stokes, who clearly got jumpy, had a lawyer send me a new email with basically the same contents, but this time adding Marques Houston’s name, alleging the articles I authored, based on Raz-B and Quindon Tarver’s allegations of molestation, are defamatory and they will sue if they are not removed. Once again, I responded in writing, stating they will not be removed, as Stokes has not disproved the allegations and under established case law, websites and blogs are allowed to re-report items from other published stories.

I did not originate the story/allegations, Raz-B and Tarver did and I have to be frank, at this point in time, I still do not believe Stokes or Houston. I informed them if they wish to sue, they are free to do so. Child molestation allegations are serious. It’s not something to be swept under the rug. It should be investigated by the federal government, who has legal jurisdiction in such matters.

After I read and responded to the aforementioned email, I did a brief Google search and it turns out, Stokes is also targeting rapper/reality star Ray-J, IP617FM.COM also known as IP617RadioTV and the Straight From The A blog. So many websites and blogs carried the same story with the same general response and are not being sued. Even acclaimed Vibe magazine carried the story, with Tarver's account of what transpired. However, the Vibe magazine went out of business due to revenue problems, with the article remaining online to this day, but there’s no money for Stokes to get from them.

Quindon Tarver

Based on published reports of a lawsuit against him, it’s obvious Stokes is having money problems and is looking for some quick cash to finance his next film "Captivity." He’s been going around Hollywood trying to raise money and it’s not going well. Stokes was recently sued for borrowing $10,000 from a woman for his kiddie film "Battlefield America" and never repaid her in one month as promised (as reported by TMZ). In fact, he never repaid her at all. The movie flopped.

I am not helping Stokes finance one of his wack movies, via a potential lawsuit against me that is without merit and flying in the face of established case law. Stokes is not the first accused pedophile that contacted the Judiciary Report requesting an item be removed, after being written about in an article on the site that re-reported allegations from another published piece.

I didn’t remove an article for anyone else, why would I do that for Stokes, someone I have serious doubts about. Society loathes crimes against children. His former artists allegations necessitates a federal inquiry, especially considering the fact Stokes keeps working with young boys ("Battlefield America" is full of little boys).

Here is a copy of the most recent email exchange, where I responded to Stoke's lawyer a few days ago:

Here’s the email Stokes lawyer sent last month:

Judge Sides With Cheerleaders In Bible Banner Lawsuit

Student painting Christian banners for football games

A Texas judge has ruled cheerleaders are allowed to display banners with Bible verses at football games. Initially the school district barred the practice and was sued as a result of their decision. However, a ruling by State District Judge Steven Thomas has struck down the district's rule, granting students the ability to display the banners, as it is their constitutional right.

Judge rules for cheerleaders in Bible banner suit

8, 2013 | Updated: May 8, 2013 8:48pm - HOUSTON (AP) — A judge ruled Wednesday that cheerleaders at a Southeast Texas high school can display banners emblazoned with Bible verses at football games. But the ruling might not have settled the issue of whether the banners are protected free speech, according to an attorney for the cheerleaders' school district.

State District Judge Steven Thomas determined the Kountze High School cheerleaders' banners are constitutionally permissible. In the ruling, Thomas determined that no law "prohibits cheerleaders from using religious-themed banners at school sporting events."...

Singer Miguel Facing Lawsuit From Audience Member He Kicked In The Head

Bruce Lee he is not. You need a helmet to go to a Miguel show.

This month at the Billboard Music Awards, singer Miguel decided he could fly and jumped over a portion of the audience while singing on stage. He ended up landing on the head of an audience member, while kicking another one. The woman whose head ended up face down on the stage staggered away.

The woman he accidentally karate kicked in the head, Khyati Shah, is now talking about suing the singer, retaining an attorney to represent her in any potential legal action. Miguel referred to her as "my new friend" knowing this day was coming when she'd want to sue.

Meeting up backstage, he described the icepack-clutching victim as "a new friend"...

Resentful Rihanna Sues The Billionaire Father Of Woman Who Has Been Getting Close To Chris Brown

Chloe Green and Chris Brown (the body language indicates something happened between these two)

Singer Rihanna filed a $5,000,000 lawsuit against British Top Shop billionaire, Sir Phillip Green, after she discovered his attractive daughter, Chloe Green, began getting close to the love of her life, Chris Brown. Chloe has not made any attempt to hide the fact she likes Chris and Rihanna hates her for it.

Chloe Green and Chris Brown

Where she can slam Brown's live-in girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, for not being rich, which allegedly makes her "basic" (it doesn't) Chloe puts Rihanna to shame at the bank. She's wealthy and helps her dad with his successful chain of popular clothing stores.

Jealous Rihanna is hating on Chloe Green. First Chloe, now he's gotten back with Karrueche Tran. It's making Rihanna completely nuts.

Brown was single when he and Chloe became close and once again, he and Rihanna have broken up. However, Rihanna is acting like she owns him. You cannot break up with someone and expect to dictate what goes on in their life. Even when you are dating someone, bossing them around and dictating what they can and cannot do will cause resentment. People do not like being treated in that manner. You have to know how to do and say things, being respectful with each other.

Britney Spears’ Choreographer Wade Robson Says Michael Jackson Is A Monster Who Molested Him

Wade Robson

Former child star turned choreographer, Wade Robson, a former member of the rap duo Quo, has sued Michael Jackson’s estate, stating the late pop star was a "monster" who sexually molested him as a child, during trips to his home Neverland. Jackson’s estate has denied the claims, labeling them "pathetic."

Wade Robson in the group Quo

The in-demand choreographer’s lawsuit states, "Michael Jackson was a monster and in their hearts every normal person knows it. Wade Robson, in addition to being one of the most talented people on the planet, is one of the kindest, most gentle, decent and introspective human beings one will ever meet. He is the loving father of a young son and happily married. Last year, on a career trajectory that was off the charts, he collapsed under the stress and sexual trauma of what had happened to him for seven years as a child."

Michael Jackson and Wade Robson

"He lived with the brain washing by a sexual predator until the burden of it all crushed him. 'If anyone ever finds out about what we did we will go to jail for the rest of our lives' and 'our lives will be ruined forever,' Michael would say to him. This kind of intimidation of a child by a sexual predator is tragically characteristic and effective, keeping them quiet about the abuse - often for a lifetime. The irony here is that we were the ones who filed under seal and still tried to keep it secret."

Michael Jackson and Wade Robson

"Amidst all the accusations of a financial motive, no amount of damages is even listed in our papers. There are significant legal issues involved in this case that have the potential to impact lives beyond just our client. But the Jackson money machine, in which everyone is indeed financially motivated, is at it once again to keep the truth from coming out. This time it won’t work."

Justin Bieber And Usher Sued For Copyright Infringement Over Stealing Song 'Somebody to Love'

Justin Bieber or Usher

R&B singer Usher and his protégé Justin Bieber have been sued for $10,000,000 over copyright infringement, concerning the song "Somebody To Love." Sony Music artist Usher is being labeled the culprit behind the alleged song theft, as singer/songwriter, Devin Copeland, also known as De Rico and his writing partner, Mareio Overton, released the song "Somebody to Love" in 2008 on the album "My Story." Two years later, Justin Bieber released the song "Somebody To Love" on his 2010 CD "My World 2.0."

Yahoo News reported this week regarding the case, "According to the complaint, the pair later spoke to Usher's mother/sometimes manager, Jonetta Patton, who said that Usher had listened to the album and expressed interest in bringing Copeland on tour with him."

Justin Bieber

The Judiciary Report has not heard the 2008 song in question to make any statements regarding similarities between the two tracks. However, the site did state over year ago that Usher and Scooter Braun have been using criminally stolen copyrighted music for Bieber's career and it's only a matter of time before it all comes to ahead.

Usher has been repeatedly sued in credible court cases for stealing people's copyrighted works for his career. Copyright infringement is a federal crime under U.S. law and a violation of U.N. law as well (The Berne Treaty).

Derrick Rose Sued For Making Chicago Bulls Fan 'Fat And Depressed'

Yea, That's What You Get For Breaking The Heat's Winning Streak (LOL)

Derrick Rose

Chicago Bulls fan Matthew Thompson, 25, has sued NBA star, Derrick Rose, complaining the athlete becoming injured and sidelined has made him "fat and depressed." Yes, this is a real lawsuit and the Judiciary Report would have loved to see the look on Rose's face when he read it. And all the Miami Heat fans say "Amen!"

Seriously, sweetie, you can't sue people for being injured. That's the nature of sports. Rose wants to play, but if an injury occurs, he, just like every other athlete, has to deal with it as best they can. They can't be faulted for that. Drop the lawsuit.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) After Lil Twist Due To Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Lil Twist and Justin Bieber

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) are not happy with rapper Lil Twist, who is one of the close friends of singer, Justin Bieber. Not only did police repeatedly pull Twist over for driving violations in Bieber's cars, one of their main confrontations with the marijuana smoking rapper, resulted in the death of paparazzo Chris Guerra, for which the CHP is now being sued.

Justin Bieber, Barbara Palvin and Lil Twist

The lawsuit is set to cost the CHP upwards of $250,000 as it works its way through the court system, appeals circuit and all. If a settlement is issued, the CHP is still out a large sum of money (on the taxpayers' dime). Either way, they want Twist's hide for this, as they repeatedly warned him to obey the law.

David Beckham Loses Appeal In Prostitute Libel And Defamation Case

The Beckhams

This is a follow up to the February 15. 2011 article Judge Questionably Throws Out David Beckham Case. Beckham’s libel appeal against prostitute Irma Nici, over claims she had sex with him, breaking his marriage vow, was recently denied by the appeals circuit.

Irma Nici

It’s not surprising, as many cases regarding people like Murdoch (and separately in this case the publishers behind In Touch) are mysteriously dismissed, having been corrupted by him in illegal ways. Beckham was able to prove he was not at the hotel or the country at the time Nici claimed the two had sex. Hotel management also denied Nici was at the hotel on the day in question. The article also contained factual errors, regarding Beckham’s hairstyle at the time, as photographic evidence revealed his hair looked nothing like she described. There are too many holes in her story.

Irma Nici

A person should not be able to make such allegations in print regarding someone’s conduct without proof (travel documents, passport stamps, receipts - all of which the accuser lacks) and it prevail in a court of law. It undermines the court system. Free speech does not give one the right to defamation.

Michael Jordan Slams Claims Of A Settlement In Paternity Case With Aspiring Rapper's Mother

Michael Jordan

Estee Portnoy, the publicist for NBA basketball legend, Michael Jordan, has rubbished claims that he issued a settlement to sex instructor, Pamela Smith, in the paternity case she brought against him on behalf of her 16-year-old son and aspiring rapper "Taj Jordan." This week, Smith abruptly dropped her lawsuit, withdrawing her claims, giving no real explanation as to why.

Taj Jordan

Smith's attorney, Randall Kessler, referred to her as Michael Jordan's "ex-girlfriend" which was reaching. Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy at the time of  the alleged affair and has not owned up to Smith's allegations. In fact, he threatened to sue her for libel and defamation.

Pamela Smith

Kessler stated regarding the voluntary withdrawal of the case, "Ex-Girlfriend of Michael Jordan, Ms. Pamela Smith authorized a dismissal of the current suit against Mr. Jordan. She began this case without an attorney, did her best to file what she believed to be a legally appropriate case. She then hired our firm. Our firm reviewed the legal posture of the case, the history of the case, the filed pleadings and the relevant law. Ms. Smith has relied on our advice, has carefully considered the pro’s and cons of continuing the case and has determined that dismissal at this time, without prejudice, is what is in her son’s best interests."

Pamela Smith and Michael Jordan

Taj Jordan and Michael Jordan

This is what the Judiciary Report was afraid of. A 16-year-old boy is now facing public scrutiny thanks to his mom's poor judgment in this matter. Furthermore, this incident has brought him no closer to having the rap career he desires, potentially damaging his chances to become a hip-hop star. Women, be responsible with your reproductive organs. There should be no question regarding the identity of the father of your child (unless it was a case of rape, which is very sad and tragic).

Paternity Case Against Michael Jordan By Aspiring Rapper's Mother Dismissed

Basketball fan and secret black man, Justin Bieber will be filing a paternity suit against Michael Jordan, whom he believes is his daddy, because as we all know, Bieber has crossed over...in the other direction and is now black. I'm just teasing.

Well that didn't last long. The recently submitted paternity lawsuit filed by Pamela Smith in Atlanta, Georgia, on behalf of her son, 16-year-old Taj Jordan (real name: Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds) against former Chicago Bulls basketball player, Michael Jordan, has been voluntarily dismissed.

Taj Jordan

Smith dropped the lawsuit without explanation, after Jordan threatened to sue her for defamation of character and responded to the suit with the same. Last week, Smith stated Jordan refused to take a paternity test to settle the matter. However, abruptly dropping the case as though it has been settled or the allegation withdrawn due to lack of merit, leaves many questions unanswered. If you may an accusation that is truthful, you stand by it.

Pamela Smith and Michael Jordan

Taj Jordan and Michael Jordan

At the end of the day "Taj Jordan" deserves to know who his real father is and his mother is not acting in his best interest in this regard. No kid deserves that. The boy deserves to know the truth. I pray he will find closure and peace in this matter, as that's a lot for a teenage boy to deal with especially under the press glare.

Michael Jordan Asks Court To Throw Out Paternity Case By Aspiring Rapper's Mother

Michael Jordan: oh no they didn't!

Basketball legend, Michael Jordan, via his attorneys, has filed a motion to dismiss document in the paternity case brought against him by Pamela Smith on behalf of her son, Taj Jordan, real name, Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, who is an aspiring rapper. Smith is a love instructor who teaches couples how to perform oral sex (yea, that'll look really good in court - not really).

Taj Jordan: daddy is that you?

It is alleged that Jordan and Smith had a sexual affair during his marriage to Juanita Vanoy. Jordan and Vanoy are now divorced, in a union that spawned three children, all of whom the basketball player has acknowledged and supported. Jordan is currently engaged to Miami psychologist, Yvette Prieto.

Pamela Smith and Michael Jordan

Taj Jordan and Michael Jordan

In court documents filed with judge Besonetta Tipton Lane, famous for presiding over high profile marriage and custody cases regarding singer Usher and basketball player, Allen Iverson, Jordan denies all of Smith's claims and rejects her requests for financial support. Jordan has retained Usher's attorney.

Pamela Smith: okay boo, I'm about to get paid!

...maybe not!

Jordan referred to the case as an abuse of the legal system and further commented through his rep, "Public records show that the paternity of the child was established in a prior case in this same court many years ago and that Michael Jordan is not the father. He also filed a  counterclaim seeking sanctions for the false claims made against him. It is unfortunate that well-known figures are the target of these kind of claims. Michael Jordan will vigorously defend himself and his reputation."

Yvette Prieto and Michael Jordan

I feel sorry for this kid, because if his mother has lied to him about the identity of his father, he is in for a world of embarrassment, ridicule, disappointment and emotional trauma. Women, be truthful with your children from the start. They at least deserve that.

Once Again Hiring Lindsay Lohan Comes Back To Burn Filmmaker As Liz & Dick Producers Sued

Lindsay Lohan (Photo Credit: Xposure Photos)

It's bad enough Lindsay Lohan damaged the late Elizabeth Taylor's film legacy, with a terrible take on the actress' life in the Lifetime network biopic "Liz & Dick" (still think Megan Fox should have done the film - at least she would have shown up on time and not looked like the aged versions of Benjamin Button and Dorian Gray).

It's bad enough that Lohan stole one of Tayhlor's expensive jewels used in the making of the film and trashed the star's historic dressing room. It's bad enough "Liz & Dick" flopped and was panned by critics and viewers alike. But now the producers of the film have been sued for $110,000 over insurance problems associated with the "uninsurable" Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan in "Liz & Dick"

A man named Michael Braun was approached by, Rick Schwartz, one of the producers of "Liz & Dick" and now says he was scammed out of his money. Schwartz told Braun he needed $110,000 to insured "high risk" actress Lohan, who has a terrible track record for showing up late, not showing up at all or turning up on sets drunk and high out of her mind.

Braun's lawsuit reveals he was only reimbursed $36,313.67 of the $110,000 and wants his money back, plus interest and punitive damages for the violation of their loan agreement. The fact of the matter is "Liz & Dick" was not very profitable and became a massive laughingstock of the film world. If you're going to invest in a film, make sure it's a good one with reliable talent, who take their work seriously (see: not Lindsay Lohan).
