I love politics, as it is thought provoking and provides a vehicle for real change in society. It’s not often that a top politician abruptly leaves his post for a simpler, more fulfilling life, but it happens. Politics can take a lot of you and your family.

Yesterday, David Miliband, a top figure in the British Labour Party, announced he would be stepping down to devote himself to charity work. However, that didn’t stop me from being a smart aleck about it on Twitter. You see, former U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, had publicly commented on how handsome Miliband is and he certainly is good looking.

Now he has quit his job and is moving to New York, where Clinton lives, to head up a charity. Coincidence, I think not (wink). Bubba (Bill Clinton) better watch his back and his woman. Maybe Bubba can get Obama to deport Miliband if he starts trying to make a play for Hillary, because I’m telling you that English accent works on women (I’m just kidding).

Greed is not good. It harms people. Once again, singer Beyonce and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, are in the midst of another incident involving financial impropriety. The greedy couple took millions of dollars to appear in Nigeria, via money that came from a state poverty fund meant for poor kids and adults. While the Nigerian economy is said to be improving exhibiting economic growth, in any third world nation, particularly one with over 160,000,000 people, there will be segments of the population facing poverty.

 Beyonce and Jay-Z need to return the money at once. This is the second time they have been caught up in a scandal for improperly accepting money for appearances in foreign nation at the expense of the country's poorest citizens. That kind of money does a person no good in life, as God sees and knows who is being hurt in the process.

February 25, 2013: There is a new report gaining MOMENTUM inside Nigeria - the report says that Beyonce and Jay Z received $1M that was designated for starving African children. They supposedly have DOCUMENTATION that shows the governor of Bayelsa - where 47% of the population live in poverty - diverted $1M in aid to Jay Z and Beyonce. Here is what is being reported by the online news mag Saharareports.com:

SaharaReporters has uncovered a document indicating that a million dollars of Bayelsa State’s poverty alleviation fund was spent by then Governor Goodluck Jonathan on bringing American entertainers Beyonce and Jay Z to Nigeria in 2006. In a letter stamped and signed by Bayelsa officials, N150 million (approximately a million dollars in 2006) was released from the state’s poverty alleviation fund for the first ThisDay Music Festival in Lagos. The document came to light after a controversy was ignited over how much money American "reality TV" star Kim Kardashian was paid for a brief visit to Nigeria...

The sources who provided the 2006 document for Beyonce and Jay Z’s visit told Saharareporters that there was a shady financial link between the producers of some high profile entertainment events and the governors and other officials who control budgets at the state and federal levels. Mr. Obaigbena’s newspaper, ThisDay, is a major sponsor of entertainment events that brings US music stars as well as top public figures for flying visits to Nigeria in exchange for gargantuan paychecks...

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star Kenya Moore Being Criticized For Appearing At Charity Event With Her Butt Out

 

Kenya Moore of "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" is being slammed for showing up at a charity event with her bug hanging out under a barely there fishnet dress. She did so in imitating and mocking castmate Phaedra Parks, who wore the same ensemble months prior, after Moore began flirting with and getting too close to her husband.

It really was inappropriate for Moore to wear the skimpy dress, if you can call it that, to a charity event of all things. At the end of the day, Parks had a right to be offended at Moore making a move on her husband Apollo, the father of her toddler. Which wife in her right mind would feel good about that.

There's also bad blood between the two as Parks and her husband came up with an idea for a work out video called "Donkey Booty" (I'm not feeling that name) and asked Moore to produce it. When the couple refused to give Moore royalties, in addition to her standard fee, she became upset, dropped the project and announced a rip off of it she will star in called "Stallion Booty" (I'm not feeling that title either). So much bickering and backstabbing. Like Rodney King said, "Can't we all just get along."
