Film Crew Scheduled To Dig Up Atari Landfill But Is It A Good Idea

The Fuel Industries film crew of Ottawa, Canada is scheduled to do an excavation dig of a 3-year-old Alamogordo, New Mexico landfill site, where video game company Atari buried a significant number of items in cement. As much as I loved Atari, I don't think this is a good idea.

 It's hardly a time capsule and not worth the risk, as such an endeavor will be toxic and carcinogenic. You are going to be releasing toxins into the environment, especially when you start chipping away at the cement to retrieve the items contained inside. It is highly inadvisable.

A documentary crew has received approval to dig up the New Mexico desert site where Atari supposedly buried millions of unsold pieces of Atari 2600 software and hardware. The crew hopes to finally confirm or refute one of gaming's most enduring urban legends.

The city council in Alamogordo, New Mexico granted approval for the project this week. Ottawa-based multimedia and marketing firm Fuel Industries will excavate the site some time in the next six months for a documentary it's filming, local news site KRQE reports. This year marks what will be the 30 year anniversary of the assumed September 1983 burial, which came during the height of the great video game crash. That sudden market reversal supposedly left Atari with millions of unsold and unsalable cartridges and systems, which were dumped in an Alamogordo landfill and later covered in concrete...

Michael Douglas Says He Developed Throat Cancer Via Performing Oral Sex On HPV Infected Women

Promiscuous Hollywood actor, Michael Douglas, informed the world that he developed a devastating case of throat cancer from performing oral sex on women in Hollywood. Yes, he went there and since he did, let's talk about it. Studies have suggested HPV contracted through oral sex is a contributing cause of throat cancer in men and women.

What people do in their bedrooms is their own business, but as a general rule, one should not be randomly taking others one does not know  into one’s mouth, via doing sexual favors for strangers or folks one has recently met, increasing one's chances of contract it. People need to value their sexual health. Women and men need to be tested for HPV among other things, as the effects thereof can be deadly. In closing, people should not make fun of people with HPV or throat cancer, making mean oral sex jokes. Sickness is sickness. Disease doesn't mean dirty. It just means the human body is having difficulty and needs help.

Lil Wayne Offends Emmett Till's Family, The Miami Heat, The NBA And Fans With His Statements

Rapper Lil Wayne is clearly going through something, because he is going from one offensive PR crisis to another. First he got into a dispute with the NBA's Oklahoma Thunder, in demanding free courtside tickets, while being loud and unruly. He was denied and went on a tirade over the incident.

The next basketball related incident occurred when Wayne attended a game featuring the NBA's Miami  and Los Angeles Lakers. Wayne began heckling the Miami Heat, then making gun signs with his fingers, which prompted police to visit his section and talk some sense into him. Wayne claims they told him to leave, the league denied the claim, stating he chose to go.

Then Wayne went on another tirade, using expletives on Twitter to complain about the Heat. He wrote a string of f-words regarding the team's top players. Not content with the bad publicity and criticism he brought on himself, Wayne went to the NBA All Star Celebrity weekend in Houston, Texas and crudely told the audience that he had sex with Adrienne Bosh (nee Williams), presumably before she married Heat player, Chris Bosh.

Now an old rap song has surfaced featuring a diss directed at Adrienne, stating she scammed Wayne out of money, claiming she needed it for cancer treatments. None of Wayne's claims have been confirmed or addressed by Adrienne. However, he has apologized for insulting the top player in the league, the Heat's Lebron James.

This was just a fraction of Wayne's offending spree as he inexplicable include crude lyrics in his new song "Karate Chop" staying of the late 15-year-old civil rights era murder victim, Emmett Till, "Beat that p**** up like Emmett Till." The teen was brutally beaten to death and dumped in a river by two racists enraged that he flirted with a white woman.

It is clear Wayne is in need of mental help. All his talk about the devil and the Illuminati, coupled with the drugs he is taking, has turned him into an angry, confused person, lashing out at the world, while offending many.
