'Tony Soprano' Actor James Gandolfini Found Dead In Italy (Video)

  |
  |

Hollywood actor James Gandolfini, famous for playing the character "Tony Soprano" on the former HBO show "The Sopranos" died yesterday in Rome, Italy of an apparent, massive heart attack. He was 51-years-old. Gandolfini is survived by his wife and two children. The actor was in Italy to take part in the Taormina film festival, when he suddenly passed away. More recently, Gandolfini appeared in the film "Zero Dark Thirty" which I reviewed on the Celluloid Film Review site two weeks ago.

The controversial actor began slipping into his character off-screen when he attacked a paparazzo, who took a photo of him while shopping in public. Video footage of the incident went viral. Other outbursts followed, which led some to believe he was having difficulty dealing with the fame that came from the show.

The Sopranos

Galdolfini won awards for his portrayal of the brutal, adulterous, fictitious mob boss Soprano, but it was not without significant criticism. When the show premiered Italian-American groups such as Order Sons of Italy (OSIA) denounced it as a negative, violent stereotype ridden portrayal of their community. Groups petitioned to have "The Sopranos" removed from the air, but were unsuccessful. At the end of the day, no one wants their cultural group portrayed in a negative light.

Sex On Camera Regarding Relationships And Marriages

Kim Kardashian

Hollywood is at a stage where sex tapes, raunchy films and leaked nude photos has overshadowed talents such as singing and acting. The box office and television viewing numbers are reflecting public annoyance with the trend of trashiness over talent, as viewership is down and studios have doubled movie ticket prices in trying to make money from less people going to see their films.

Behind the sex scenes and nude photos are real people with relationships that often go very badly due to them being exploited and objectified on camera. Years ago, the Judiciary Report warned that the very handsome Reggie Bush, would have his doubts about marrying reality star Kim Kardashian, due to her x-rated past being caught on film. Yes, rapper and reality star, Ray J leaked then sold the sextape featuring her, which was very wrong of him, but Kardashian made it worse in posing for Playboy.

Kardashian’s past cost her Reggie Bush, whom she clearly loved very much. But at the end of the day, men and women may privately have sex with a person with the aforementioned past, then drop them for someone they can take home to their parents without having to try to explain their past to everyone. It’s awkward. People, stop making and leaking those sextapes or doing said scenes in films or on cable.

Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian

Think about it this way. What if your true love ends up being someone who is on their way to becoming president, as Obama has in America or Prime Minister, as David Cameron did in Britain. Then, they find out about your sextape or see your film credits with explicit sex scenes,  they’ll have to make the choice between the career they love or you and your past which will damage their future (career). As much as they may love you, that's a lot to ask. You could lose the love of your life (much like Kardashian lost Bush, whom she was crazy about). Not trying to be cruel, but trying to warn people of the dangers of certain choices.

That type of thing will also cause problems in a relationship or marriage. The average person does not want to see their significant other having sex with someone else on film. Who could reasonably deal with that. How do they get those images out of their head when they are with you.

Ray J and Kim Kardashian

I read porn stars date and marry other porn stars. It’s clearly due to the fact everyday folks who do not have sex on camera for money, cannot deal with their significant other doing that, as it damages the relationship and trivializes sex.

Said porn stars have difficulties with their marriages. It’s also one of the reasons Playboy models’ marriages usually do not last. When you allow yourself to be exploited and objectified via sex scenes on camera or nude photos, people will wrongly or rightly assume you do not respect yourself and that they can treat you any old way they feel like. It’s wrong to treat anyone badly, but resentment will form and chip away at your relationship.

This alarming trend of actors, actresses or reality stars having sex on camera is damaging in many ways. I read a lot of feedback sections on websites to gauge public opinion on various matters from politics to sports to entertainment. Regarding this matter, some people do not care, but many do. It causes people to lose respect for celebrities, who have sex on camera. I’m not trying to hurt anyone, just relaying what I’ve often read via people‘s opinions and comments.

Another damaging side effect of said example is young girls and boys trying to emulate these behaviors as they want attention and to be popular. They end up causing themselves serious emotional, mental and social injury.

For example, unwise stars like Rihanna, who leak topless pics, stating things like they feel sorry for any boyfriend whose girlfriend doesn’t send them nude pictures. Well, one of my older friends’ young daughter took Rihanna’s stupid advice and sent her boyfriend a topless photo and now her mom is petrified of who the boy may have forwarded the picture to and if it will end up online one day. I wish she would think before she opens her big mouth in interviews.

Making sextapes and doing sex scenes in films also come back to haunt people in other ways. Three weeks ago, the Judiciary Report revisited the subject in the article Do Work That Your Future Children Can Be Proud Of. Take Kardashian for example, who is currently pregnant. If all goes well with her pregnancy, sadly in a few short years her child will be able to go online and very explicit images and videos of Kardashian are all over the internet. Sites on Blogger and Wordpress that are not x-rated have stills from Kardashian’s sextape. How does she think that child is going to feel.

No boy or girl, not even woman or man, wants to see their parent having sex on camera. It is disturbing and disheartening and has messed up a number of people who have experienced it. Any kid, even grown kid, would be horrified and mortified.

No daughter wants to see her dad having sex with a woman on camera. No son wants to see his mom performing sex acts on a man on camera. No child wants to see their parent having sex at all, especially on camera. Not to mention the teasing from others. Regrettably, it will cause your children to question your decisions. I do not write that to hurt anyone, but to discourage people from allowing themselves to be exploited in this manner.

In closing, to actors, actresses and singers seeking fame or greater levels thereof than what they have achieved, do not allow anyone to exploit you. Some directors will exploit you to terrible degrees for their own kicks and to get attention for their projects, but at the end of the day, they don't care about you, your family or future kids and the lasting damage it will cause. Keep your clothes on and do not let people use you, as sex is supposed to be sacred and most of all private. The price you pay over time is not worth what you gain in the short run.

Miley Cyrus Visited By Her Estranged Fiancé Liam Hemsworth Who Left Her For Weeks Due To Cheating Scandal

After paparazzi busted handsome Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, 23, cheating on his fiancé, Miley Cyrus, 20, with fellow actress, January Jones, 35, he fled to his native country for weeks to escape the bad publicity. Hemsworth was spotted spending time with his family in Australia. His mother did not look very happy. I know if I had a child, a son, I wouldn't want him to cheat on his girlfriend, fiancé or wife. No mom wants that.

The press and blogosphere interpreted the incident as their engagement having come to an abrupt end, due to the cheating. Reports surfaced that Hemsworth left to "get away from Cyrus." However, upon Hemsworth's return last Friday, Cyrus released a video to YouTube featuring her "twerking" which is basically dancing and shaking like a stripper. I’m pretty sure that video was meant for Hemsworth.

The two seem well-suited to each other, but Hemsworth is not being faithful to Cyrus and on his current path, it's only a matter of time before he cheats again. He will do what she allows. The problem is compounded by the fact Hemsworth is in Hollywood, full of temptation and women willing to do the wrong thing, regardless of whether he is engaged or married. No girlfriend, fiancée or wife deserves to be treated that way. If you want to cheat, you should not be in a relationship.

But this is Miley's choice to make. She has to decide if she is going to continue with Hemsworth, who betrayed her and in public (though some claim he tried to stop January Jones from kissing him at the party by stating "We can't do this here" - leaving with her in a car to do it elsewhere).

January Jones

Some wonder if Hemsworth was trying to make Cyrus jealous, but who takes things that far to the point they hurt someone else. Furthermore, it is not a good idea trying to make someone jealous. They could get the wrong idea and walk away from you.

In closing, when a person publicly disrespects you with someone of the opposite sex, it reveals immaturity and that they lack loyalty. That's not a good sign. Those are two red flags. Hemsworth may change his ways, but in marrying him, Cyrus is taking a massive risk that he won't.

Do Work That Your Future Children Can Be Proud Of

Make Your Future Children Proud

Beyonce

Entertainers should do the kind of work their current and or future kids can be proud of. You want them to be able to Google you or look you up on YouTube and be proud of the work you’ve done - not embarrassed, cringing or crying over what they see and hear. No child of any age wants to log on and see their parent half naked, naked or having sex. It will cause them emotional and mental trauma.

Rihanna

Some screenwriters, songwriters, producers and directors do really good work, turning out well polished, respectable pieces. But some choose to exploit singers, rappers, actors or actresses, via vulgarity and sexual exploitation the performers later regret. Whether you want to admit it to yourself or not, you are being exploited and in very negative ways you will regret. Some music videos and so-called commercial films that are rated PG-13 or R, may as well be classified as porn, due to the sex scenes and lack of clothing. Don’t be reckless with your work, as it will come back to haunt you.

With so many negative influences and examples in entertainment, one should not want to add to or be apart of the problem corrupting people and damaging minds and souls. Edifying, intelligent works of integrity without the salaciousness, lasciviousness and filth lasts longer and have more of a positive impact.

Once you hit a certain age, all the sex centered work will be of no use to your career and you will have pimped out yourself for something that didn’t last, as the industry moves on to younger people willing to compromise themselves for money. Then you’ll be stuck with work you can’t show to your kids (regardless of their age). Be smart when you accept and put out projects. Once again, don’t add to the problem. If you’ve already done work your kids or future kids will not be proud of - stop. Don‘t do that type of work anymore, lest you make things worse for them and yourself.

Yes People And The Effect They Have On Celebrities

Some in this world strive for fame, but it can be a double-edged sword. Becoming famous can present a person with the world on a platter. However, with it comes responsibility and abuse of fame leads to disaster. As the Judiciary Report has stated in previous columns, having too many options can be a bad thing. So can surrounding yourself with yes people, who tell you everything you do is right, when sound judgment and the law say otherwise.

Women often navigate fame better than men, as there is not the need to sleep around (however, there are exceptions). Women are usually looking for one decent and faithful man. However, with men, due to modern day societal conditioning, the temptation is greater when fame presents them with many opportunities that were not present before, to sleep with different women.

Women who would not give them the time of day prior to fame, begin pursuing them for bragging rights, money and fame by extension. People who were not your friends before the fame, attempt to befriend you, some for deceitful reasons. Yes men and women don't provide objectivity and reason. They kiss up and lie, telling a celebrity everything they do is right, until they destroy themselves.

Yes men and women tell celebrities they can do anything and yes, you can, if it is positive. However, negative and unlawful actions always catch up to a person, no matter how clever they think they are. There is no outsmarting God's law that says you reap what you sow. You put good or bad out into the world and that is what will come back to you - guaranteed. Another irony is some yes people are famous folks who befriend other famous individuals.

Sleeping with underage girls which is unlawful, getting drunk (public intoxication), drunk driving, taking drugs, defrauding people, fighting - you name it - a yes person will tell you it's all okay, when it is illegal and prosecutable offenses under the law. When you face the consequences thereof, they will be no where to be found. Your life, name and career in tatters, they will go back to pretending they don't know you.

The responsible thing to do is keep fame in perspective. If you look at it as getting as much sex from different women, drugs and alcohol you  will destroy yourself. No question. You will fall. Stop yourself before you go any further and end up regretting it as many others before you have not long after embracing these vices. No one is that good and in control that they can sleep around, drink alcohol to excess, take drugs and engage in other dangerous living and come away from it unscathed. There is always a price and a very undesirable one.

Appreciate your life for what it is and the potential it holds. Don't take that for granted and develop entitlement issues. The world doesn't owe any of us anything. Strive to live a positive, decent life. Make the most of your opportunities. Remember how hard you worked for them and don't jeopardize it. Surround yourself with good people, while bearing in mind you are not the center of the universe. Be humble, hardworking and grateful.
